
XC Art Center Program
Overview of the 5 Major Course Divisions​
To better support students in growing steadily according to their age and developmental stage, XC Art Center will officially implement a new course structure starting in September 2025. The curriculum is divided into three main divisions, helping each student identify a clear learning path, make informed choices, and explore artistic development in greater depth.

Foundation Program
Age Group: 6–12 years old
Program Focus: Interest Building · Skills Awakening · Gentle Progression
Course Highlights:

Drawing Fundamentals: Basic shapes, structural observation, and line control

Sketching Practice: Enhances observation skills and hand-eye coordination

Color Exploration: Foundational color theory, palette mixing, and material testing

Intro to Creative Thinking: Guided visual themes for free expression

Pop-Up Books / Handmade Crafts: Hands-on 3D projects to build spatial awareness (optional with parental consent)
*Important Notes:
This program does not include any competition-based content. Students wishing to participate in art competitions may apply to transfer into the Competition Program, with an additional fee. Teachers will assess students’ readiness before recommending advancement to the next level, in consultation with parents.

Competition Program
Age Groups: 6–8 | 9–12 | 13–17 years old

For students passionate about theater arts, gain hands-on experience with real productions in the following roles:

Performance Assistant: On-site coordination and flow management​
