A Visionary in Dance Photography and Visual Arts
Michael Shi is a New York-based artist who merges his analytical background in business and statistics with a passion for photography. His acclaimed dance photography captures the essence of movement, blending technical precision with emotional depth. Michael has won over 30 international awards, including the PX3 First Prize, and held solo exhibitions at prestigious venues like the Shanghai Symphony Hall, New York, Paris, Prague, and Dubai.
He has collaborated with institutions such as the UMKC Conservatory and the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) in Bali, blending cultural heritage with contemporary art. Sony selected him for their 'Sony Young Photographers' Program in China, and AS Creation launched a wallpaper collection inspired by his work. Now based in New York, Michael continues to explore the intersections of art, culture, and humanity, inspiring audiences worldwide.
